AIF STATUTES
Item 1
Name, insignia, legal form and headquarters,
1- The purpose of these statutes is to regulate exclusively the general principles and procedures of the organization, organization duties and authorities of the Ashihara International Federation, a self-governing institution. These statutes cover the conduct, regulation and development of all Ashihara International activities in the world in accordance with the Ashihara International Rules.
2- The AIF logo is as shown in the Appendix to these statutes.
3- The abbreviation of World Ashihara Federation is AIF
4- Headquarters addresses;

Item 2
AIF's aims are:
To promote the development and expansion of the Ashihara International around the world
To organise, regulate and monitor all Ashihara International activities within the World;
To ensure the proper implementation of rules set by the governing bodies of AIF.
To make any plans, programs, arrangements and agreements related to Ashihara International activities as well as to take the necessary measures to achieve successful results;
To fight against violence, illegal performance incentives, racism, doping and any kind of discrimination;
To educate the Ashihara International society with assistance of the its coaches and to make Dan and Kyu examinations and homologations in Ashihara International Style.
Item 3 :
Membership
Membership is open to all Unions, Ashihara National Federations, Associations, Clubs, Dojos, Individuals. Executive Commitee is authorised to accept the membership applications. All members will get a identification card’s when they apply for a membership.
A better explanation, what is a member for an organisation joining a different rule set is applied and individual members have maybe stricter requirement

Member’s Responsibilities
1- Only those with AIF membership cards have the right to participate in national and international competitions organized by AIF, this limits the expansion outwards, why would you limit this? Ofcourse members should have benefits and non members will not
2- Dan examinations will be held by appointed Dan and Kyu Commission People in this commission should consist of members well versed in Kata and a equal understanding of Kata and techniques, viewpoints might differ bur not the exwecution
Members can only do a Dan or Kyu grading if ther are registered and apply to the minimal requirements as stated in the rules and regulations written down by the AIKO
Members are examined against the ;latest ruleset on Kata and Techniques as stated in the Grading syllabus and Kata syllabus as provided by the AIKO
Item 5
Suspension
1- Each year until the end of january, membership renewal is required, otherwise the membership will be suspended by the executive committee.
2-Members which do not participate in the AIF activities organised by AIF by two (2) years shall be suspended by the executive committee, and three (3) consecutive years shall be suspended from voting at the Congress until they have fulfilled their obligations in this respect and shall not be candidate for any function with AIF.
I understand you want active members but if a member pays his duty’s but does not participate why should you punish him or her, agreed voting then is suspended

Honorary President
Nominatation of Honorary President shall be designated by The Executive Committee,
The Honorary President may take part in the Congress and has the right to vote.

As Dave is the founder of the AIKO he must be top of the ruling body

The Congress not a ruling body but an event that is used to vote on aspects as membership of the board,
The Congress will be held each four years in World Ashihara Championships. Each representative will have one vote in the congress.
What is a reprensentative? Country, Dojo, Province this needs to be made clear
Events like the COngress or Camps or tournements need to be determmined and written down

The President / Founder
The President Is Dave Jonkers as founder, after an eventual departing of Dave Then it could go to a elected periode 4 year. All countries will have the right of showing candidature for the Chair.

The Executive Committee will consist of 7 able and knowledgeble members
including president, 1 Vice President, General Secretary, General treasurer
And 3 supporting members
also 7 substitute members should be appointed
